More details starting to show up on good2gomobile's site in the FAQ section:
What happens when I use all my data?
Once you have used all your data, your account will be charged 0.10 per MB until your plan or feature renews. How can I check my data Usage?
You can check your data usage by dialing *777*4# and press send on your handset, your available data, plan expiration, account balance and account expiration will appear on your screen.
So it looks like they will be charging $10/100MB. Time to look for another provider

Dang.. at $0.10/MB it would be better if they just forget the data plan and allow Pay Per Use... that way it would 1-up the other by not having up have to pay $10 every month...
I mean Rogers Pay Per Day data packs are better because you only have to spend $1 any time you need it for the day and it is automatic via the web browser... This seems that you have to call into the IVR and select it or have them manually add it..
I might as well go back to Rogers with the $100 card (no tax day) 1 cent per minute evenings and weeks ends and use PPD data packs...

I’d like to see the option to purchase data in blocks similar to what is offered at Koodo prepaid where you can get 1 GB for $30 and it doesn’t expire. In the case of Koodo you have to have a monthly plan and the minimum plan is $15 a month which includes unlimited texting. See http://koodomobile.com/en/on/p.....html#nitty.
This kind offering might represent better value to NomoreUMB.
Since SpeakOut can presumably make money with their previous rates for voice and text, by offering data blocks (“data boosters” in Koodo terminology) they might be able to retain customers that would otherwise switch to other providers. I’ve e-mailed them to suggest this. Perhaps if others did as well SpeakOut could grow their business with satisfied customers.

Well, if Speakout plan ends up looking like Good2Go then I'll be going elsewhere. Tying data to plans doesn't work for me and I don't think Speakout is the cheapest way to go for a rarely used pay as you go phone. Was good while it lasted. Just have to figure out how to burn a pile of time off 3 sims before they expire.

Those are the monthly plans for Good2Go. They have a regular pay as you go plan $0.25/minute, $0.15/text. Just like Speakout and their Talk and Value plans, Petro has the Anytime and Monthly plans.

Right, but what about data if you don't want a plan? I can't see anything about that on their website and that's what I'll be wanting since that's the way UMB currently works for me.

If you look at the image [Image Can Not Be Found], the plan specifically says:

I hope we do get to kep it until the end of November...
I hope that company Public mobile or whatever has the deal on those Android phones again... I think it was $35 last time....
unlimited data as well... $35 and you get unlimited talk and what not... Even at 1X speed that is still decent if it is unlimited.
100MB is a joke and that just makes it useless.. game is over folks... the only good thing is that top ups last 365 days. They should have had Data packs pay per day instead...
Sad that Data expires 30 days... I with it was like, buy 100MB and it lasts 365 days or until you use it up.
Well I guess I will set up 2 spare phone numbers and put them in storage. Bye bye!
going back to Robbers network 1 cent evening and week ends is better, going to top up $100 anyway on a no-tax day.

but I DON"T WANT A PLAN. I just want data.
Oh, never mind.

Worse though, they took away my $30 – 400 minutes plan!
Me too, and I can't even see it on the website to monitor usage! We do get one (October) renewal on that plan and then it dumps you onto 25c/min I believe. (You can check remaining airtime with *777*1#[SEND] but that doesn't help if someone else is using the handset).
Obviously they had too many people choosing not to pay $5 for another 100min instead of unlimited SMS (choices before included $25/300min or $30/400min or $30/300min+SMS I believe). So they took away the option.
I guess it's still worthwhile for the 365-day renewal, but I'll be looking seriously at other options when refill time comes around again in September.

Kymics: I don't see a $20 plan for 1 GB of data at Bell. I looked in prepaid at http://www.bell.ca/Mobility/Ce.....paid_plans and saw $35 for a 1 GB add-on.

Kymics and FlyBoy320: Are you both referring to the Bell Tablet Flex data (SIM only) plan described at http://www.bell.ca/Mobility/Ce....._plans.tab?
FlyBoy320: How is your call quality with Fongo?
