Where did my minutes go?

So I just bought my first speak out phone last night, along with it I bought the $20 pay and talk plan card, so what I'm not sure about is why do I have only $1.50 worth of minutes left when I should have more? I've only made 9 phone calls and I've only used 14 minutes worth. Now unless I did my math wrong on how the minutes work out I should have a lot more then $1.50 worth left.

It sounds to me like you have been running on the initial $5.00 that came with the phone. I assume you phoned in and entered the code to get the additional minutes you purchased, if not that is probably your problem.

Check with customer service to make sure that you got credit for this airtime.

Hmm well I tried entering my code from my receipt again and nothing, it just tells me to enter the code after I press the "*" button.

When all else fails, call SO customer service, give them the receipt number & they will apply the credit to your account.

I didn't know there was a $20 plan, I thought the min amount you can buy is $25 on Speakout.

I have a funny feeling, the store sold you the wrong " plan ".
They sell other brands as well ( Virgin, etc. ).
Never heard of a $ 20.00 voucher, only 25, 50 and 100.

Yeah, come to think of it, Pay & Talk is a TELUS thing. If you talk to a 7-Eleven manager who understands what happened, you might be able to return that and get a Speak Out voucher. Otherwise, I guess you could post the TELUS airtime for sale on Craiglist or somewhere similar for $15 (and take a $5 hit).
