I have a new sim card but don't have the activation code -- can I activate it?

I think they might activate if you call customer service and put a balance on it.

Just a quick question, I just got a new SIM Card and I was trying to activate it online and I noticed something wrong with the speakout7eleven.ca activation process… If you are trying to activate just a SIM card, it's asking for an IMEI of the phone you are using, but if try to activate a SIM that came with the phone, it's not asking for an IMEI, and is expecting a 7 digit activation code (if you only bought a SIM card you get a 9 digit activation code)…

Is it just me, or is their online activation wonky?

I just had that happen as well. I phoned them and started to describe the problem to the CSR and she just said "What's your activation code" and she activated it. It was obvious she knew what I was talking about before I did. So I expect it's a "feature" (there are no bugs in the tech world, only "features", right?) of their website.
