7-Eleven has pulled all SpeakOut phone packages from their retail stores nationwide. They are still selling refill cards to existing customers, but all SpeakOut phones have been pulled, and they are not signing up new customers. It looks like it might be the beginning of the end for the American version of SpeakOut. I think a big reason is their choice to charge $2.14 each month for their 9-11 fee, the highest rate of any MVNO in the USA.

I came from Boston yesterday and our two Speakout phones didn't work.
Same in NY and Washington.

Hi mjbad2,

Just want to confirm that we're talking about SpeakOut USA, which uses the AT & T network? I used to be with them, but couldn't handle the way they were treating customers like myself.
