I was told by a store clerk that the phone had no expiry date (I was considering putting one aside as a Xmas gift, but decided not to). I would check with SO customer service if you intend to wait more than 90 days.

I was wondering if anyone has got the current free phone offer by buying a total of $100 airtime made up of four $25 vouchers?

Thanks, for the reply. That's what I thought, but clerk in store I went to said only a $100 voucher got you the free phone. I'll have to try another store.

This promo is supposed to end Sep. 30, 2010.

I seem to recall that the current promo (of buy $100 airtime, get $59 off a phone) is not as quite good as a similar promo which ran Nov-Dec 2009 (in which they offered an additional 25% bonus on the airtime). Will someone confirm that?

Does anyone know when there will be another similar promo, especially whether there will be one at the end of this year? SO tends to offer them at particular times of the year, but I do not remember very clearly when. I am asking in part because the current phones on sale are not quite what I am looking for.

I went into the Don Mills store, lots of phones there. Was told it's free only if a $100 (not dividend into 4 $25) purchase. Bought a $25 instead to keep my $80+ active for additional 365 days.

It's good that I have already passed the expiry date and my money is still there... not 24 hrs later than expiry though.
