The one at Pender is still there. I was just there a week ago and they had probaly 8 phones

Ah. I was curious because they are listed on the 7-11 website which don't give you any contact numbers. So I checked the phone book but I couldn't find their listing anywhere... Weird.

So I tried buying 2 x $100 speakout vouchers and asked for the Nokia 5200, the two 7-eleven stores I went to in downtown vancouver would not let me get the two $74.00 credit on the Nokia 5200.

I went to the Red Flag Deals forum. A member claimed he bought 2 x 100 vouchers angd got the 5200 for FREE! Darn! Wish I knew about that before getting my 5200. A steal!

If you want two phones, you'll have to make seperate purchases [from different stores]. Retail stores do have the right to limit quantities.

I work retail too. People get angry when something is advertised and there is a shortage from people getting greedy buying large quantities of them. I mean, really, stock is already hard to come by!

The 5200 looks like a good phone. I called a 7-eleven store. She said that you can't combined the credits. But she split the $100 voucher to 4x$25 voucher and give you the deal.

she split the $100 voucher to 4x$25 voucher

Why would you prefer that? A $100 voucher gets "grossed up" to $125 of airtime whereas 4x $25 is only good for $100 airtime.

(Doing 4x $25 or even 2x $50 made a lot of sense before SO raised the cost of airtime to 25¢/min on $25 and $50 vouchers.)

I think the buying 2 x $100 to get the Nokia 5200 is a fluke, I've went to 3 7-eleven stores now and they said they can only apply the $74 on one phone.

Bylo:
A case I would split the $100 into 4 x 25 is so that I can easily sell it. Or if I have 4 friends who still have $$$ on their speakout phone and just want to extend their expiry by another year.
In my case I would split it into $25 and $75, the $25 to extend my balance and the $75 to fill up the new simcard for my friend. If I can get the 5200 by buying 2 x $100, I would gladly recharge my balance with the $100 and my friend will also get $100 for his new 5200

Fluke or not, I don't think it's too outrageous to buy 2x$100 and get a free phone that's just a little more higher end.

And honestly, I've never heard of other companies trading in 2 phones and getting a better one. I mean, think of the risks if they accept--how do the clerks know if the traded phones are in good working order etc by switching sims around? If I were a business owner I'd go the first route, and really hesitant on the second.

I went in to buy a $100 credit for my phone today, and asked for any current promos.

I was happy to hear the free phone deal was back on, so i went with it.

Charged my phone with the $100 credit and was happy to hear $125 credit applied,

I went back in the store and bought another!

Number at the back of what?

As I said on your other thread:

To add airtime, call *888 from your SO phone and at the prompt type in the 12 digit "Prepaid Card Number" (just as instructed on the airtime voucher.) You can safely ignore the "Serial Number" and the bar code number on the voucher.

"you do not have access to the refill option"

Perhaps you should call SO customer service at 611 and ask them for assistance. Make sure you have your airtime voucher handy. They will be able to access your account to determine what this message means and how to resolve it.

The new website of 7-11 is not useful to find info about 7-11 stores. Even their locations on the map is showing wrong info. Our website store locator link is also not working...
I tried a Google Search and can not find anything... any ideas how to get the phone numbers of 7-11 stores in Mississauga?

Try using this:

http://canada411.yellowpages.c.....en/toronto

You can substitute toronto with the city of your choice.

You can substitute toronto with the city of your choice.

You can also substitute with a province, e.g. Ontario or ON.
