My SpeakOut account had over $40 credit in it mid September. I just logged on and my balance was $1.41!! I was on a regular monthly value plan including unlimited browsing. I never authorized any deductions and $40 seems like a lot of money to blow through in such a short time. I never received any notification of when the plan changed from UMB to data but I am assuming this is why I have been charged. Has anyone else had their account drained recently?

If your account had $40 in mid-September, then they could have deducted the monthly fee for September then (minimum $20), then again for this month ($20). That adds up to $40. That's if you were on the minimum amount in monthly plans.

Nope not that. The monthly amount charges start on the 17th of each month. I am sent a notification text several days before it is automatically renewed and I am charged. It hasn't been a month since my last charge and I did not get the text reminder usually sent two days before. The last texts I got were on Sept 15 that said I had $75.16 in my account and then Sept 17 that said my monthly plan had been renewed and would expire on October 17, 2013. I should have been deducted $35 for my monthly value plan and that's it! Instead I had $74 gone and no notification as to why?!

I would be on the phone with customer service asap. They are the only ones that can go into your account and help you with this.
