Tracfones do not work with Speak Out sims. Tracfone's firmware is hardwired, and they can not be unlocked.

I did a quick search.

The Motorola i730 is an iDEN phone and only works on the iDEN networks like the Telus (formerly Clearnet) Mike network or Nextel in the US. Bell might have an IDEN network as well, but I'm not sure.

It's not GSM and even though I know very little about iDEN networks, I doubt an iDEN phone will work on a GSM network, regardless of whether or not it uses a SIM.

I believe it was mike through a company called clearnet. How does that affect it's ability to recognise a foriegn SIM when unlocked?

That Motorola sounds like it's on the Mike network. I doubt it would work.

It has a sim card, if unlocked will this phone work?

None of them will work with 7-Eleven SIM cards, because they are CDMA phones, not GSM phones. I don't want to stop any such phone sales, so don't take this as a negative comment... it's more of an... informational note.
