As for the date I quoted (Nov 16) that the new promotion starts, that was given to me by an extremely reliable source
Our local 7-11 said the same thing, though from them alone I wasn't trusting it without seeing something. iamdrumming is a good corroborating source!

are they going two let you get 2 100 dollar vouchers and get a better phone
No, you will be able to get a $59 phone for free (like the Nokia 1661, or the Nokia 1208 if it's still available) if you buy one $100 voucher. If those two phones don't interest you, then you will be able to get $59 off another SpeakOut phone. You can not "double up" like that.
I am confused. In an earlier post, you said that we could get a $75 phone for free. Above you say that it is only a $59 phone. Why the change? Was this info given to you by 7-11? Thanks.

The deal is get a free phone, so they give you a cheapest phone, or credit for the cheapest phone. Before the cheapest is $75 now $59, therefore is $59 credit

I never said they would give you $75 off a phone for this year's promotion. They might have offered $75 off in the past, but I never said the $75 off was for this year.

It means that you will get either a free phone (like the Nokia 1208 or Nokia 1661) for free or $59 off another phone of your choice.
Since the 1661 or the 1208 both sell for $59.00, you would in essence be getting one of those 2 phones for free (with the purchase of a $100 top-up voucher of course).
This was your post from 30 September 2009 that made me think that your source said the offer would be $75.

My apologies if I stated that. I know last year's August promotion those phones went for around $75, but because they are older models now (especially the Nokia 1208) they are giving $59 off. That's when I bought my 1208.
It shows I don't have all the answers

I drove by a 7-11 today and saw a banner referencing the deal (it wasn't there last week). Will have to go inside to see if the deal is on.

The deal is on. Just picked two up today. It is a $59 credit towards a phone so you can get their entry level phone for free. (I paid the $16 extra to get the flip phones.)
Great Xmas gifts for my two daughters.
Thanks for the info!

The 711 near me didn't have the codes in the computer yet but they did it as I waited. I picked up the 2760, they had lots of phones including the 5130. (Location on Lakeshore in Etobicoke)
Thanks for the info.

I have already 7-11 customer. If I buy $100, can I also get a free phone (i mean the very low end one)?

Yes, a new phone with a new SIM. You could take the old SIM from your current phone and put it in the new phone, then add the $100 airtime. This will preserve your current phone number and airtime.
Then you could sell the new SIM and old phone.
