Winnipeg Voicemail number

Okay, when I tried accessing my voicemail by holding 1, it asked for a phone number. I haven't been able to find the voicemail number for winnipeg.

I have my voicemail setup, and have tried a number of different numbers from different forums i've found, but they all charge me long distance. My wife has a rogers phone, and I tried the number from her phone, and it worked just like all the rest, but like all the rest it charged me long distance.

Do any manitobians have a voicemail access number they are using that doesn't charge Long distance?

Is it not more cost effective to turn off your phone and call your cell number on a landline and press # and input your password and listen to your voicemail this way?

Try dialling the area code, plus the first 3 digits of your phone number plus 6245.

It's much more cost effective doing it that way (that's how i set up my voicemail). But it would be nice to be able to check my voicemail when i'm not around another phone.

I ported a number from a different carrier, so the number i have isn't associated with rogers or SO

I recommend calling SO client services and having them fix it. I had issues when I originally ported over from Rogers also.
