Just wondering if anyone else in the Winnipeg area is experiencing signal issues with their Speakout service, both cellular and data?

I'll have full bars one minute and then no signal the next while it searches for a signal.

It's happening with my iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS.

I know here in Winnipeg, MTS costumers are experiencing cellular and data issues today as well.

That's exactly what I'm experiencing. Occasional, voice will work, but no browsing, email, etc. I called Speakout this morning and they had no record of any service outages. My understanding is that MTS and Rogers share cell towers. People on Telus don't seem to be having any issues.

Did you try it with another phone, to make sure it's not an iPhone issue? If it isn't, they might be tweaking their network, or it could be a glitch.

Not sure whats going on. Around 4:15pm both of my phones lost their signals for about 15 minutes, both said No Service. I tried turning them of an on, and still nothing. Then at about 4:30, both came back online and seem to be working fine now.

I have a few friends that use MTS and have been having the same issues for the past two days. Their phones seemed to be back to normal too right around the same time too.

Seems like a network upgrade then.

Happened to me too, but it was only a problem with the SIM in my Android phone. When I transferred it back to either of the 7-11 Nokias I have around everything worked no problem.

I thought the whole unlocked phone thing had sh!t the bed for a while there and was a step away from heading over to Koodo.
