You can buy USA prepaid T-Mobile sim cards on ebay for around $11 that come pre loaded with $60 of airtime.

I can't use the 711 Speakout SIM card on a Fido Motorola V66 phone even though Fido is using the Rogers Wireless network.

When I turn on the Fido phone with the 711 SIM card, it will ask for the 'Subsidy password'.

If anyone knows what this Subsidy password is, please let me know.

Yeah, same thing happened to me on a previous Fido phone, but luckily it was a Nokia, which is much easier to unlock for free (see my blog post about that).

I had to pay $25 to unlock my Motorola phone (v186m) and so far have had no luck in located a free unlocking service or site for Motorolas 🙁
