SIM Card Confusion! Please Help!

Hello Everyone!

I need some help! I have a Rogers Samsung cellphone from about 3 years ago. My 3 year contract expired about 5 months ago, and I decided to go "cellphone-free".

However, I just landed a job that requires I have a cellphone. I want to do a Pay as You Go plan. My SIM card is "unrecognized" and deactivated. I went to Rogers yesterday and was told I needed a NEW SIM card, which would cost about $50. Ridiculous! I found a brand new sealed Rogers SIM card on Ebay today for $8.

So my question is... when I recieve this brand new Rogers card and put in my old phone, will I be able to use the 7-11 SpeakOut plan with it? Or do I now have to use only Rogers...

Thanks!!!!!!!

Your new Rogers SIM will only work on the Rogers network. You'll need to purchase a new Speakout (or alternatively purchase it off someone here) in order to subscribe the the Speakout service.
