Hello everyone, I am thinking of getting a SO phone but am not clear on an issue that is important to me, so I thought I would ask here first.

The plan that I was most interested in is the "Value Plan" $30 100 Minutes + Unlimited Browsing & Texting**

The fine print says "All 30 Day Value Plans include: Canada Long Distance " which is wonderful. So the question is: I live in Ottawa but have family / friends in Toronto so calling them from Ottawa would just eat up my minutes. However I also visit there often (2 to 3 times a month) so while I'm in Toronto if I attempt to call back to Ottawa or make a local Toronto call I should still only get minutes eaten up right given that I have long distance included in this plan. Or will it charge me more for using minutes in Toronto because I am roaming ?

Similarly on the Unlimited Browsing / texting if I was to browse a web site while visiting Toronto would it charge more for data roaming or no ?

The answers to these questions would be much appreciated, thanks.

A minute is a minute anywhere in Canada as the value plan includes long distance and local calling.
Same with the unlimited browsing…you can browse on the Speakout (Rogers) network anywhere the network is found in Canada.

You would only be charged extra for calling to US/international or for texting to an international number…

If you have any concerns just give Speakout a call…
