One of the posted links to send/receive txt's was http://www.vazu.com
I sent myself one last week and it worked fine, now over the past week they are not being received.
Anyone else having success receiving txt's messages from the web?

I haven't been able to get vazu to work either. The other site 1888usa.com works fine, however, sometimes it takes a few hours for the SMS to work its way to my phone.

I couldn't get a txt to work from the other link given on the homepage
http://freesms.1888usa.com/sms.....global.htm (It always rejected the #, I couldn't get the formatting right i guess).
From that site I was able to try http://www.sendafreesms.com/ and it did not work either.

Alright I have tried the following websites:
http://www.vazu.com
http://www.gizmosms.com
http://www.sendafreesms.com
http://www.txtdrop.com
None of the above work, I got someone to txt me from their phone and it worked right away.
Any ideas anyone?

If you ported phone number from another cell phone provider into Speakout than you may have difficulty sending out text messages. As the internet websites that send out the text messages may use telephone # to identify service provider. Your ported number may have been associated to different SMS Gateway.

I ported the number over from PC Mobile (Bell Network).
If what you say is the case will txt msg's from the web never work for me?

Like Matt I ported to SpeakOut from Bell Mobility about 2 weeks ago yet 1888usa worked for me but not vazu, so there has to be more to the explanation that just that.

Maybe the it's because while PC Mobile is on the Bell network it's still a different provider.
I'm not certain but I believe the vazu.com worked for me a few weeks ago.
Regardless at this point no websites work and only a msg from another phone is working.
