Hello

I am planning to switch to Wind as I need more minutes. I would like to port my number to Wind but this will automatically deactivate my Speakout SIM. I was planning to give the SIM to my dad so that he can use the SIM. But I do not want to give him a deactivated SIM and pay a fee to reactivate it etc.

My question is..Is it possible to port out from Speakout but keep the card activated? If Speakout can assign a new number that would be great but wouldn't I then lose my old number that I plan to port out? Also I don't want Speakout putting a 'lock' on my number like Rogers Bell etc so that I cannot port out.

Was wondering if anybody had any experience porting out or similar experiences.

Thanks

No, once you port out, the sim is deactivated and useless.
