This seems kinda weird, maybe worth sharing:
After my air time expired for 35 days, I enter my prepaid card number to refill, I got the message "This service is temporary unavailable, try again later" tried this over few days, same problem.
Called CSR, found out the phone got switched over to petro canada mobility; that's why when I enter my 7-11 speakout wireless prepaid card number to refill, it generated the error message.
Rep was very nice, she had to manually refill for me and switch me back to 7-11.
Since I don't really use the phone, I don't know when this switchover occured.
For all I know it could of been when I first got the phone; at that time I had to called customer service, because the vmb/number wasn't working, and the CSR manually did something on his end then walked me thru some setup. Was told some number was wrong or something (didn't pay attention at that time, as only concern was getting phone working).
Anyways all is good now.

My question: what happens after airtime expired for 45+ days? Has anybody tried that? Is there any thing CSR can do at that point, if so what are the cost?

After 45 or more your 7 - 11 phone number (ex. 604-XXX-XXXX) will EXPIRE. That means that you will not be able to use that number anymore. You'll have to purchase another phone (with SIM) then buy $100 airtime. Hope this helped.
