Hi everyone,

So I saw that the 25 cents a minute is for outgoing calls and incoming calls. I just wanted to clarify if the incoming call fee is only for incoming calls that I answer, or if I get charged 25 cents regardless of whether or not I answer it.

Thank you

If you do not answer the phone, you will not be charged. If the call goes to Speakout's voice mail, you will still not be charged. You will be able to see who called though, because caller ID is included. So in essence you have yourself a beeper that can cost you $25 a year!

You can check for your voice mails from a land line, so there is no cost there either.

Thanks, will set up voice mail if there is no charge for calls going to voice mail.

Is it normal to see just a phone # for incoming call? No name display for caller ID.

Sadly, you only get a number and not a name with incoming calls from Speakout. Speakout would have to pay a 3rd party too much money to supply that feature, and they did not think it was worth the added cost. On the phone and SIM you can add a person's name to the number, but it is not as convenient.

If you listen to voice mail, however, you will be charged 25 cents per minute.

If you check your voice mail from your Speakout phone, you get charged 25 cents a minute. If you access the voice mail from a land line, it is free.
