The test of the Alert Ready system was supposed to be held here in Manitoba today, May 9, at 1:55pm. My Android phone did not receive any kind of alert. Did anyone else? Did Rogers/Speakout participate in the test?

They had the alert yesterday here in Ontario. I didn't get the alert as well.

Some explanation might be available here:
https://www.alertready.ca/wireless/

It says:
The wireless device must be:
An LTE-device like a smartphone (LTE is commonly referred to as “4G LTE”)
Wireless public alerting (WPA)-compatible
Connected to an LTE cellular network at the time the emergency alert is issued.

This might explain why I didn't get the alert --- I do not have a data plan with Speak Out.

Well that's why I probably did not get the alert either!

True enough. Since SpeakOut does not support LTE, it explains why no alert.
