Hi,
I have recently heard about the new offer for the Alcatel 356 for free with a $100 dollar top up plus a $25 dollar freebie bonus.I would like to get my grandma service in Canada. She has a unlocked phone already so can I order the Alcatel 356 with a $100 dollar + $25 dollar top up, pull out the sim from the Alcatel, and place it into my grandma's phone, will I get service?

Regards,
Jayden

It will work if her phone is from Rogers. Otherwise, her phone must be unlocked. And I don't think she would appreciate the Alcatel phone. The keys are crazy small.

I bought the Alcatel 356 for my wife but realized how small and numerous the keys are. I opted for a Blu unlocked phone off of Ebay and had it shipped to Canada for under $45 all in. You can get them from big box retailers in the US. They are dirt cheap but they work. They are all limited to GMS networks which is perfect for Speakout. Nothing fancy but it has big numbers and is really just for talking unless you like number pad texting!

I realize you said Gramma already has a phone but if you require a new one I would not recomend the 356
