Speakout US costs | Speak Out in other countries | Consumer forum

Does anyone know how much the Speakout startup packages in the States cost? I was thinking since they're not giving out US SIM cards any more, that I would buy the Nokia 1600 startup kit in the US plus the same one in Canada. That way, I get both n/w coverage areas (by swapping SIM cards), plus a 2nd phone for backup in case one breaks, or at least a 2nd battery and charger out of the deal.

OR
Based on the previous recommendations in this forum, I was also thinking I could do the same with T-Mobile. ie. Buy their Nokia 2610 which is being sold online for $40, including a $25 startup credit (so basically the phone for $15) and then buy the same model at 7-11 in Canada.

Comments? Am I crazy? Will this work?
