Why would threads/topics be displayed in "started" order rather than descending by "last post"??

I prefer not to go through all the topics to see which have been posted to.

That's odd. I always thought they were ordered in descending order by last post. Is anybody else experiencing this?

I just noticed "Most recent topics with unread posts"....If that lists all unread posts I guess it does the job, though the forums show up first and then these topics with unread posts.
I just need to remember to scroll down the page.

Mine lists the most recent posts first. I would suggest ignoring the "Most recent topics with unread posts" It's kind of misleading. Most, if not all of those posts have been indeed been read, by the moderators, Peter, or the members.

For registered users that title means "Most recent topics with posts you haven't read."

Don't know about that. I have read them all 🙂
