Because my wife does not want to use her company blackberry for her personal phone call. Then I got 711 for her.

I added the 100mb addon data plan for the first month, just for a try.

The nightmare began.

Maybe my son play her phone when she didn't notice, the usage quickely reached 100mb limit, but 711 never gave out any warning, they just kept charging you. I still don't understand why there was a 500mb download within one day.

As a new customer, I thought the addon program would stop when it reachs the limit.

My first month data charges was $100 !!!!

I will definitely leave this company after I run out my balance.

Speakout is particularly awful when it comes to data. I personally would never use Speakout unless I was in need of an emergency phone. Every other service Speakout offers is poorly competitive with other carriers.

I agree, you should have been billed for 100 megs and that is it. However, it is industry practice in Canada to run the tab though, so changing carriers is not going to be of much use to you. Another instance where the CRTC is asleep at the switch.
