Like:

1. $0.20/min = Cheap, Cheap, Cheap. Like a Budgie. A totally completive rate. Cheap.

2. 365 day cards.... all cards. Now that is what I'm talk'n about Willis! Light users don't want to pay monthly connection fees and those other guys charging $25 for a 30 day card are charging a "monthly fee" as far as I'm concerned.

3. GSM. Modern, rest of the civilized world, GSM. Ok a cop out really what I like is taking the SIM card out and sticking it in whatever phone I want. How good it that!

3.1 Voicemail and Caller ID. Free voicemail and caller ID even. I can't believe that I pay less for this than I would at Telus.

Not so much like:

1. Poor marketing. As far as I can see the word isn't out there yet despite the fact the program has be running for what, 2 years? Note: that doesn't affect me personally unless Speakout goes out of business, and I feel I have a vested interest in seeing they stay solvent.

2. Poor phone selection. Wouldn't it be great if you could go online and just order up any Nokia cell phone from 7-11? Maybe even a group buy? Maybe we should do that here?

3. Poor online presence. I'd love to see an SMS (text) connection and online minutes purchasing. Of course I would also like to see Pamela Anderson in my hot tub but I'm not holding my breath. I don't even have a hot tub. But if I did.

Hmmm, while a better phone selection would be great, I am quite thrilled with my Nokia 1600. Guess I just like the old Euro non-flip phones. And it does all I need it to do - make calls and send SMS. No need for surfing or taking pictures. IMHO. We are talking about a cellphone not a digital camera or a personal computer here, really. 😀
