Here are some preliminary interesting numbers from the December 2011 voucher contest, which asked a few basic questions about the entrants' cell phone usage.

87 total entries; 83 were current Speak Out users; 4 hadn't yet joined

Of the current Speak Out users:

40%, or 33 users have a Nokia phone of some sort
28%, or 23 users have an iPhone

For 29%, or 24 users, Speak Out is their first provider

For the 59 users who were previously with another provider, the average monthly spend with Speak Out is $11.50; the average spend with their previous provider is $26.80. 80%, or 47 users are spending less per month, but 20%, or 12 users are spending more

Some more stats (that's probably it unless anyone is interested in anything else):

Previous provider breakdown:
MTS 1 (2%)
Koodo 3 (5%)
Bell 8 (14%)
Virgin 9 (15%)
Telus 10 (17%)
Rogers 14 (24%)
Fido 14 (24%)

Users have been with Speak Out for an average of 1.8 years
27 users (33%) have been members for 1 year or less

Sure: There are currently 5,438 registered members. 554 of them have never posted in the forum. I'd have to investigate further for stats such as how many have visited in the last __ months.
