This isn't going to work because people like crazy8 and maybe spass too, are not following the forum rules.

"... We suggest that when you receive referral codes, you use the code from the first person that posts in the thread
AND supplies a code via PM..." Do we see a post in the thread from crazy8? No.

It's just a waste of my time.

Geez, man, lighten up, it's only $10 bucks. I guess I did not read the rules carefully so I missed that part. Oh, wait... I DID follow the rules! It says there: "We suggest that when you receive referral codes, you use the code from the first person that posts in the thread AND supplies a code via PM". If you look up "suggest" in the dictionary you will see that it implies a recommendation, not an obligation. Which means in the end I can exercise the right to either follow that recommendation or chose whose code I use at my discretion. In any case, using the code from the first person who PM'ed me seems reasonably fair to me.

If you want that rule to be followed, ask the mods to put that rule in bold and change suggest to MUST.

Don't be offended mate, user is just venting the frustration that a lot of people feel here. Guys like Crazy8 are just cheaters. They do not post in the thread so they can redeem codes daily if they feel like it. Anonymity gives the license to do as they please. Its very easy to get pissed off when you are trying to play by the rules, while others continually cheat.

andreww, thank you for clarifying. In this case, I suppose making the rule stand out (bigger font, bold) on the rules page would certainly help. I myself briefly glanced through them and this particular caveat went by me... I only remembered to post back and indicate whose code was used. I did not intentionally try to disobey rules... I am all for them, just want to be able to immediately and clearly see the important parts.

No worries, not your fault. I really don't think the powers that be really could care less to tell you the truth. Its just a shame that so many people feel comfortable cheating and stealing from others. This thread provides enough opportunity for each of us to receive $10 per month for free, but that just ain't enough for a lot of people. Sad really.
