Will an unlocked NOKIA E63 and all of it's functions work with speakout? I am phone retarded, and don't know much about technology...like i don't know much about EDGE, and if it will work with speakout, and if the Nokia works with EDGE technology, does it mean it won't work at all with speakout? The phone supposedly works with wifi too, so I should be ok with that because that doesn't really have anything to do with the carrier, right? I really want this phone, but I don't want to waste my money on it if I can't text message, or use miscellaneous functions like I heard happens if you try to use a Blackberry with speakout. Sorry for my stupid sounding post, any replies wold be greatly appreciated.

No, all of it's functions will not work with Speak Out. The only functions that will work, are those that are supported by Speak Out, such as:

Voice Mail
Caller ID
Call Waiting
Three-Way Calling

and basic text messaging also.

Anything to do with data (such as browsing the web using data from the cellular network) will not work since Speakout does not offer any data from it's network.

(Although browsing the web using WiFi should work perfectly fine)

Anything that you can do with that phone that you can do with most others (such as text messaging) will be fine.

In a nutshell - it should be fine. I'm using a similar phone (an HTC s620) and when I want to browse the web with it I need to find an open WiFi. Should be fine.
