It seems I need to set up my phone to be able the UMB service I just purchased today.
This is on the SO website, but I can not relate it to my phone settings.
Anyone else using an iPhone 4S on UMB?

Did a lot of searching and found this, it does all the setting changes for almost any carrier in the world. Select the country and carrier using the cellphone you want done and the website program sets up your phone for you. Not unlocking or jailbreaking!!!

Just for what its worth, APPLE is having a Grand Opening for a new APPLE store on Saturday the 27th in Markham, Ont in the Markville square. I think I will go there to see if my settings are as they are supposed to be.

In the settings, for UMB should I have the settings for DATA set to "ON"???

Right now I feel so dumb, in the past I could build you a desk top computer from scratch in the days of DOS when everything had to be set up manually.

July 24th, just found out that I am not connecting to UMB. Tried to access the internet when I was away from home and no go.

bridonca, I followed your advice to look up the Mainframe directions and downloaded the iPhone configuration utility from Apple for Windows, but the link provided by Mainframe lets you download an outdated file.

This is the correct file now: http://support.apple.com/kb/dl1466

Just as a follow-up.
I have everything working now. This past week I did go to the APPLE store, but the ''Kid" there was no help at all to assure me that my UMB is working as it should. After some searching in the "settings" I did find a section which actually stated that I am connected to UMB and the carrier is Speakout/Rogers.

Thanks for help and advice received.
