Hi
Please let me know which phone of Sony xperia is less expensive and good. Heard the z2 and z3 get heated very fast.
My rogers plan is a family plan so my monthly payments are low due to no data. But to get a Z series phone they will up my monthly payments. Dont use any data so hesitant to go that route.
Only outright purchase is a viable option.
Where do they sell them?
Also i hear folks buying from amazon.ca but many say no warranty. I like amazon.ca but no warranty becomes a problem.
appreciate your suggestions. or any other phone comparable.

I have a buddy that owns a z3, slippery beast, and the screen breaks easily, which I have personally witnessed.
I personally own a LG G3, which I really like. My carrier, Fido, are not as big of twits when it comes to upgrades. Fido allowed me to upgrade, and keep my standard plan, but the phone cost me $320 all in, and I am locked to 2 more years. Considering I am paying $15 for 200 minutes, 6 PM E/W, and unlimited picture messaging, I probably am going to be with Fido for a couple of years anyway.

Thank you Bridonca for your suggestions - yes i was also thinking of other carriers. But so far rogers seems the lowest 24X7 talk and text thruout Canada - no data which i do not want it is $30.
With this amount they cannot give me a smartphone except a flip phone - so am shopping for sony as i have a sony xperia ray and am happy with it.

Rogers has an under $30 talk and text plan? Must be grandfathered. I know Chatr offers a $35 unlimited Canada wide talk and text and picture messages, and for 8 months it is $10 off https://www.chatrwireless.com/web/chatr.portal?_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=PlanBrowse

Yes the $30 24X7 talk and text i got it on a family plan - rogers had some promotions ???
I used to have chatr and was pleased with it and when i travelled they kept my no. without any fee and i could activate it back.
But becos of the rogers plan i switched.
Actually i did not think of the $80 bonus they give us like the way you mentioned to me. So i did phone them. They said that i need to purchase a phone outright as chatr is a prepaid co.
I am using my spouses cell phone for the moment. I will further look into it.

Saw some sony phones not sure which is a good phone from these
Sony M4 aqua outright purchase from wind 299$ - this is comparable to z?
Xperia E-1 $ 99 PC
Xperia Go $40, U $40 J $40 PC the lady mentioned something i did not understand said it is $156 and activation fee of $40 after 1 month cancel the phone as it is pay as you go phone and they give you a store credit of 75$ or so - not sure i understood anything.
Anything good from the above info please let me know.

The Sony M4 aqua is not as good as the z, the 720p screen and camera are not as good. Looks decent for a phone otherwise.
Sony Xperia E1 is an awful phone, especially at $100.
The Xperia Go, U, and J, are from the junk bin of 2012, horrid phones, not even worth $40.
If you do not understand what the vendor is selling, you are being sold garbage, I promise you that.

As i just use my phone for talk and text and i need a good camera when i need to take special pics.
As it was within my budget i thought the Aqua M-4 looked like Z but will wait and see what comes up for back to school sale.
