Silly 1112 1-touch behavior

Does everybody else's phone do this too?

New contacts are automatically assigned to a 1-touch button as they are entered, and in the same order, rather than allowing me full control over who, when, and what key to assign them to (if any).

You can't "disable" any of the 1-touch buttons unless you turn them ALL off.

Under Contacts/1-touch dial/Edit, each key is preassigned. "Assign" only lets you assign it to a different number or SMS.

If you re-assign a new number to a key, the display goes wacky. Instead of:
...1-touch dialing
Key 2:
Somebody
...604 123 4567
you get:
1-
Ktoeucyhd ia2li:ng
Somebody new
...604 555 9876
(line 1&2 overlap each other)

If you then Delete the new assignment (more options now), the display goes back to normal, but the original number is reactivated, rather than the key being blank.

PS: Don't forget to either turn off 1-touch, or enable auto-keylock. I didnt, and later discovered that I had called BCAA without knowing it, and lost 3 minutes of my time while my phone bounced around in my pocket.

Same behaviour on the new Nokia 1600.
