Nokia screen indicators

This is my first Nokia phone (2760). Can anyone point me to a list of what all the screen indicators mean? I understand the regular ones like signal strength and battery charge. Next to the battery charge indicator, there is an indicator that looks like a pencil, or it changes to two circles connected by a line at the bottom. I can't find anything in the user guide or on the net.

TIA,
Roger

The pencil icon seems to display when there is an field on the screen that can be edited or can be written into.

The "two circles connected by a line" seems to display if a voicemail is waiting to be heard. Looks like a "tape" symbol I guess.

The two circles connected by a line means you have a message on your voicemail.
