Does anybody here use the Nokia 2610 available at 7-11?
I've read some reviews dating back to 2005 that say the screen is terrible. But now its 2007, has Nokia updated/fixed the issue?

Three months ago I got Nokia 2610 -- screen readability outside or in sunlight is not good. But still is a great phone to have.

I just bought the 2610 and it is hard to see outside. It was cloudy out and I had a hard time reading the screen.
I got this phone for $25 bucks (75 bucks off) so I guess I got what I paid for.

I just bought one nokia 2610 over this weekend. I tested with one fido sim card and one rogers sim card. Both are working on this phone, so the phone is definitely unlocked one. From Peter's home page, it says that all but 2610 are confirmed unlocked becuase nokia 2601 has not bee confirmed yet. I was wondering whether my tests can confirm it.
