I have a problem with my speakout wireless Nokia 1600. I have it lock the keypad (Menu *) when it's in my pocket, but I've been noticing more and more lately that it unlocks itself. I've found a few ways that it does this.
The most recent is when it happen to roll into "*08(dial)" or "#08(dial)". When this happens, EVEN WHEN LOCKED, it displays "Attempting Emergency Call".
This is really, really annoying. When the keypad is locked it shouldn't allow other random combinations to make calls.
Not sure if the other candybar nokias do this. If so, I'm definitely going to have to go to a flip phone or similar.

I have heard phones get glitchy sometimes, or you may have a lemon. I had a similar problem with one of my phones. I took out the battery, and let it sit overnight to reset it. That worked for me.
