Does anyone know if there is a way to set the phone to delete text messages automatically... to delete the oldest text message as the inbox gets full?

AFAIK, you have to do it manually. There is no automatic function to deleting texts.

If I can piggy back on this thread:
In normal (non predictive )text mode, does anyone know how to insert a capital letter when its not at the start of a sentence when texting a message?
I cant for the life of me figure it out. I know to put in a number, hold the key down but I cant figure out how to do Cap letters.

the # key will do that, and it will display how it is writing on the top left of the screen. i.e. Abc, abc, ABC.

thankyou - ha - its pretty simple when someone explains it.
another Q. Does anyone know how much memory these 1208s have? I just had to delete a whole stack of messages because it said not enough memory to take new messages.
