I changed my iPhone 4s to iPhone 5s, I have problem to activate iMessage, it said waiting for activation, and then failed after around 24 hrs, does anyone run into similar issue or have it resolve in some way? Thanks in advance!

yes! I only get it to work on wifi. Have you found a resolution at all? I visited Apple today and they said everything is great on their end and it must be the carrier.

Yes it is the carrier. iMessage activates by sending a short code sms message to their server. Speak out does not let the short code sms go through.
