Hi guys,
I have a Samsung Galaxy SII duos (CDMA/GSM). I shutdown the CDMA and only open GSM, set up GSM APN as following which was posted on this site, then activated unlimited web browsing and called customer service to reset it. I can see the little G icon on my phone and with green arrow icon data up flashing ( no data down signal), but I couldn't open any website. I put speakout sim card to a Nokia mobile which is not a smartphone. When I open a website, it shows error message "subscribe to packet data first". I called 611, but the representative said it's a setting problem and asked me to call Samsung service. I don't think Samsung could do anything about speakout web browsing setting. Can anybody tell me where is the problem and how to fix this.

Name: Speakout
APN: goam.com
Proxy: 10.128.1.69
Port: 80

MMS Proxy: 10.128.1.69
MMS Port: 80
MCC: 302
MNC: 720
Authentication Type:
APN type: internet+mms

The only thing I can say is to check very carefully for typos in your entries. I use exactly these settings on a Galaxy 2 LTE and have no problems.

Another possibility, a slip-up which I've done myself, is that after you have entered all the settings and saved it, make sure that you put a checkmark in the box to select this particular apn profile.

checked everything just like what you said, it just didn't work, Some thread said gingerbread is less successful. I have given it up and canceled web browsing. Anyway, thanks 46jimbo!
