Rogers Pay As You Go Plan

I have a Rogers Sony Errisson cell phone tied to a 3 year contract.

I was recently given a Palm Centro smart phone also on the Rogers network and just swapped out the SIM card from the Sony phone to the Palm Centro Smart phone and everything is working great.

My question is: I'd like to get a Pay As You Go Plan from Rogers and pick up a Rogers SIM card off of Craigslist (Toronto) to put into the Sony cell phone.

Can I activate this Sony cell phone with the new SIM if the phone previously had a SIM card assigned at the time I signed up on the 3 year term?

Thanks.

Yes. The SIM identifies you and your phone number. It will work with any 850/1900 band GSM phone that is either locked to the Rogers network or unlocked, i.e. not locked to any other carrier's network.
