7-11 sells replaceable sim cards for a $25 fee (off your account).

Does anyone know if Petro Can does the same??

Probably yes and probably $25 since SO and PCM are operated by the same company.

Why not call PCM CS, ask them and post their answer here?

They are replaceable... $25 fee that is taken off the account balance and a new sim is shipped out....

And if you find your lost sim card, they can reactivate it in another phone.

Anyone with a petro can mobile phone feel like 'loosing' their sim?? 😉 😉 I'm on the market for a new one!

Cool! So SO/PCM really do sell separate SIMs without having to buy a phone. All you need is a good story and $25 😀

Thanks for posting their response.

Has anyone tried this yet?

Replacing a lost sim makes sense, but being able to reactivate the original sim is suspect, because I've never heard of cellphone company doing that (they always want you to get a new one).

Give them a call... that's what the CSR guy told me.

I asked, "after I get my new SIM, and activate it.. I find my old SIM, can I call and activate that card for a new phone".. the CSR said yes, but would have to be a different phone number.

Call and ask, then please post your response 🙂

New answer today...

They don't replace LOST sim cards!! If your SIM is rejected (gets locked) or the SIM gets damaged, they will send an IDENTICAL SIM for the $25 fee..

Glad I called back and got additional info.. Wierd though as I asked exactly the same question(s) today..

Oh well, sounded too good to be true!
