Does Facetime and iMessage work? Do they generate hidden text messages that you get billed for?

Thanks
Bob

A Presidents Choice SIM card will work with an iPhone 4S after you cut the Presidents Choice SIM card down to size. You get billed exorbitantly when you go over your quota, which is only 100 MB or 500 MB, depending on the plan you pick. I would not use Facetime much, because that will eat into your quota quite quickly.

iMessage should work fine though. I believe the iphone has the text plus app, which allows for free text messages through your data plan.

thanks

I had read some people saying that when they put the pc sim in a iphone it ran down the money really fast and they thought it was sending texts to apple server for facetime.

I won't use it much but it can be pretty handy sometime.;

iphone sometimes like to send SMS(for facetime etc.) which can cost money.

However, in my limited time with it, I didn't experience this problem. But it seems that every time you try facetime, it use some MMS and video email (per their statement log).
