Anyone know what this means? The "anytime minutes" of the value plans are valid to any Canadian number so is "FREE Canada Long Distance" just restating that the "anytime minutes" can be used for all of Canada or does this mean that any minutes used beyond the "anytime minutes" will be charged the same $0.25 rate in both the local calling area and the entire country?

Presumably roaming still applies though, right? So if I take my Toronto-based phone to Montreal and call Calgary, I don't pay for the long distance (calling Calgary) but DO pay for being out of area (calling from Montreal)?

Read number 4 on the home page of this site.

If you take your Toronto-based phone to Montreal and call Calgary, you will be charged long distance. You are still charged a long distance call even if you are in Montreal and call a local Montreal number, because your phone is based in Toronto.

You pay long distance when you press the send button if your phone is out of your local calling area. All incoming calls, regardless of where you are in Canada, are deducted the local rate.

I have the "anytime minutes value plan" and as far as I know, you can call anywhere in Canada FROM anywhere in Canada using up the "anytime minutes".

When you've used those up,you are charged the "normal" rates.
