Hello folks,

Firstly, thank you for putting together such a great site. I've found more information on your site the most of the other results in Google put together!

I currently am in the UK and own an iPhone 4S. I'll be spending time in Canada in April and need to find a suitable microsim and provider with data plan to use while I'm there. I'm not so fussed about the minutes or sms, but data is important. Do 7-Eleven provide microsims? If so, where can I purchase them and are the plans reasonable?

Secondly which may be out of your remit, but if 7Eleven don't provide microsims then do you have any recommendations on carriers that do?

Once again, many thanks for the site and for any responses.

Speakout currently does not provide Micro SIM cards, but it is easy to cut a regular SIM to size, especially if you use a specialized tool. Plenty of iPhone 4 users have used Speakout with the SIM modification.

I should also note that Speakout offers unlimited mobile browsing, and not data. You can do a lot with unlimited browsing, but not everything. Keep that in mind.

I would need more information on where in Canada you want to be, and how much data you think you will consume. Will you be using VOIP? This info will give be a better idea on what carrier you should choose.

SO UMB works beautifully with iphone(most app anyway).

if you really need full data, think about using iPad plan(no voice/sms). I just go into an apple store and ask them to give me one(free) for bell then activate it(a bit of hack as it can only be activated using safari disguising as iPad). You may try to sweet talk the boys/girls in apple store to activate the sim for you using their iPad.

if cost me 15cdn for 250MB data or 20CDN for 500MB data, and you don't need to cut anything.
