Hey guys, I called to confirm, since I have been hearing rumors that the days have been changed from 90 to 30, and the person I called confirmed that we have only 30 days! Just throwing this out there for those who may be waiting longer than 30 days.

Not true, it's 90 day expiry for the voucher itself and 365 days once it is applied. I called customer service to confirm and the recent voucher still has 90 days printed on it.

But my receipt doesn't have any date on it. This is really bad, I have no idea what to do, 30 or 90 days?

Ok, mine is $25. Better call and ask CS to check if it's different expiry for different denominations.

I got two answers from SP. one is 30 days and today 90 days.
The voucher has no date...unless I have trouble seeing it.

Normally SP is quick to answer but this time no luck. Its been two days and no feedback about promo/30days duration.

Just passed-bye Danforth road and saw the board about Free phone promotion.
Checked with the clerk it started two days before. He also told me 30 days period for activation. The store is just opposite to Donland subway on Danforth.

My voucher bought about a week ago looks just like yours (non-blacked-out parts) but has a date (and was for $50). It's near the bottom, in the portion that's blacked-out in your picture. It says:

*******************************
Cost: $50.00

Auth Number: ######
08/07/2010 11:05

Thank you for using
Speak Out Wireless.

Reddleman - but that's just the date that you bought it, not the expiry date???
I'm caught in the same dilemma. I called SO and the rep said no expiry date. Now I am REALLY confused.

i bought a $25 voucher on Aug 8, and it clearly states "... apply the voucher in 90 dyas", and it has purchase date and time on it.

I think the rule should be (unless told otherwise) all prepaid vouchers expire 90 days after purchase, as it has always been.

Yes... that's just the date I bought it.

But even if it is the lowest of the possibilities mentioned, 30 days, why would you need to keep it around for even 30 days before activating it, never mind 90 days? Once the voucher is activated, it's good for a full year, so it's not like you're gaining that much extra time by waiting. And if I understand correctly, all you have to do to reset that year for your entire balance is activate one $25 voucher. Surely you use more than $25 per year?

mjbad2, would you pls confirm or transfer your letter to me that the $100 airetime for new phone is still for 90 days, Coz either I ask the CSR and the store the answer is 30 days. So........... I already bought one for this promotion and really wanna activate it much much later than now. My email is WINWINXF@HOTMAIL.COM. thank you then. If that is too inconvenient for you. Pls just ignore this.

Yes I can forward that e-mail as soon as I get home.

I just bought a $25 voucher today & it says...

"$25/$50/$75/$100 all expire 365 days after activation."

"Must be applied to your phone within 90days of purchase."

The date & time of purchase is also printed on it.
