So for most of us a 20% rate increase. Makes no sense to me. Why would I do long distance or even any amount of local for $18/hour when I can do it for 1.49US month and .60US/hour with voip(as much as possible) Well at least I'm dropping the 10/month data for fido 15/mo for 3GB.sf-laugh_gif
It's all good. No one will get rich off me anyway.

Even with the increase they still have better rates than most (if not all) other prepaid providers. I came over from Virgin which currently charges 40cents/min local plus another 40cents for long distance.

Frontpage needs to be updated to include the new rates.

Well at least I'm dropping the 10/month data for fido 15/mo for 3GB.

I've done the same, Dennis. I got a nice Asus dual sim phone from BestBuy. I put the Speakout sim in one slot and the Fido data sim in the other. So for $5 more, I get 30 times the data. I'm lucky if I use $2 to $3 of Speakout voice a month. So, all in all, a most satisfactory combo.

If you want to discuss the Fido sim, please start your own thread, instead of hijacking someone else's. Thanks
