Promo is now up and running in Ontario, $74 discount off any phone with a $100 air time purchase. Picked up two Nokia 2760's, they are on sale for $90, so with a $200 air time purchase total came to $262 taxes in.

Yeah, I got mine this morning too in downtown TO. They wouldn't let me buy any other denomination of vouchers though. ๐Ÿ™ Was told that they use to do it before but this time around, they've been specifically instructed to only sell $100 vouchers.

So if somebody wants a $100 voucher or the phone, I can sell it to you at a discounted price. I only want the SIM ๐Ÿ˜€

Just got from islington ave 7-11, Etobicoke, ON. Decided to get $25+$75 instead of $100. I'm the 3rd buyer of flip phone in the morning already. The store owner told me she is ordering more and the promotion suppose to run to the end of year. If I used up my min, I probably can get another free phone by the year end. ๐Ÿ™‚

Bought my $100 air time and got a free nokia 1208 ($74 off a $74 phone) last night around 1:30am at the college and spadina location in toronto. Looks like they had a couple more 1208s and a few other phones as well behind the counter, probably ten or so in total.

Was planning on going with petro prepaid since they have a lot more locations but this promotion was too hard to pass up.

Just picked a Nokia 2760 at Yonge & Eglinton 7-eleven. Great promo, thinking about getting another one. I hope the promo goes for a little while and they don't sell out.

Picked one up in Mississauga (Erin Mills & Battleford)

Got the free Nokia 1208. Loaded the $100 and it says I have a balance of $130. Sweet. Many more phones at this location must of been like 20

Why people all want to get two $50 voucher instead of 1 $ 100 voucher? If $100 voucher can also activate three month later. 1 $ 100 can ues for 15 month and two $50 voucher also can only use for 15 month, they are the same, is that right?

I bought by phone at this same location and had a difficult time too. So I won't go back there again. In my case it was because the clerks had limited facility with English, but they were sure quick to take my money. I left frustrated but happy with my phone, which I did not get on a promotion.

Not quite. If you get a new phone plus single $100 voucher then you have a starting credit of only $5 (from the SIM.) If you use up that $5 within the first 3 months then you either have to add the $100 early or lose the use of the phone. OTOH if you get two $50 vouchers then you could apply one right away to get $55 credit then apply the other one after 90 days.

One other, more important IMO, difference is that with the $100 voucher airtime costs 20ร‚ยข/min whereas with the $50 vouchers it costs 25ร‚ยข/min.

I just got one from 7-11. I don't want the cell phone but it is free. I pulled the sim card and put into my previous rogers locked cell phone, it still works. The next thing i want to do is to transfer my rogers number to 7-11.

BTW, in the store, they didn't say you will get $130. But I checked the balance after i put the $100 air-time pin number, it says $130.

Rogers asked me for extra $50 for change my monthly plan to rogers "pay as you go" even i was with rogers over 4 years. That's wired and unacceptable.I am happy that i can end roger service.

Good luck!

When you buy either the $75 or $100 vouchers, you'll get 25% extra credit so

A $75 voucher gives you a total of $93.75
a $100 voucher gives you a total of $125

The rate is always the same, $0.25/min, however the effective rate becomes $0.20/min due to the extra 25% credit.
