Hi Everyone
Stopped by my 7-11 yesterday and asked if there was any upcoming specials. The manager stated that starting Nov 1st, there will be the buy the $100 get a free phone offer. She wasn't sure which phone but will know this week and I'll post when I find out

This should be good because you get 20% more airtime whenever you add money to your account until November 15th.

That makes sense to me. Someone at RFD said that the November promotion would begin on the 15th, so we now have a total of three start dates: the 1st, 15th and 16th. I'm betting on the 16th, since I doubt that 7-11 would want their current promotion (i.e., the 20% topup bonus that ends on Nov. 15) to overlap with the free phone promotion.

I walked into a 7-eleven store in Vancouver East today asked when the next speakout deal would begin and the lady behind the counted said the 15th of November. I asked what the deal was and she said something like "Purchase $100 airtime and get $75 off speakout". She spoke quite poor English, so I took it to mean that the phone is $75 to purchase without the airtime and is therefore free with the $100 airtime purchase.
I asked about the phone you would receive and she just pulled out a box and put it on the desk. She didn't seem to care and was really quite unhelpful.
