I thought this promotion went away for good, but it comes back.

I am going to join the Speakout Wireless. I am wondering can I purchase $100 airtime voucher to get $20 off the phone purchase and $25 Bonus airtime together? Thanks.

Yes. You can get both with a $100 airtime voucher purchase. When you buy the voucher, you get $20 off for the phone. After activation of the $100 vouocher, you get $25 more airtime. In addition, if you have a referral code, you can get $10 more airtime. So totally, you can get $5 (initial phone credit) + $100 (voucher) + $25 (promo bonus) + $10 (referrer bonus) = $140 airtime on your phone.

Hi All (and big thanks to chtml):

Yesterday I bought my first SpeakOut phone, the Nokia 1660. I bought a $100 airtime voucher, and used the $20 off any SpeakOut phone with $50 or more airtime purchase offer advertised on 7eleven's website to get the phone at $39 ($59-$20). I had printed the ad/voucher from 7eleven's website and had to show it to the clerk who didn't know about the $20 discount, so it's a good idea to take a printed copy of the voucher with you.

When I later activated the phone, and applied the $100 airtime credit, I was credited with $125 airtime, the get $25 bonus airtime with $100 airtime purchase.

I also applied a "Pay It Forward!" referral code a Referral Code Requests Forum member provided that gave me an additional $10 airtime credit.

I figure I paid $139 for $199 worth of phone and 1 year's airtime.

SpeakOut has so far provided problem-free activation and excellent customer service.

Geez I have to remember to read the fine print (and re-check these forums): the $25 air time credit on a $100 voucher purchase requires you to activate the $100 air time during the promo period (the latest promo was Oct 1 to Nov 16, 2010).

My phone needed to be topped up at the beginning of December, being smart (so I thought), I bought a $100 for myself (and $25 for my SO's phone, she's an even lighter cell user than me) intending to top up my airtime just before the expiry date, as a way maximize my expiry time before having to top up again. Unfortunately my "need to top up" date was AFTER the air time credit promo time window, with the result being missing out on the the $25 air time credit. Of course SpeakOut Wireless' CS rep was not at all sympathetic to my plea of ignorance. My bad… Argh!
