I just heard about Speak Out today. It looks like it might be the perfect plan for my wife and I. Is there any chance of them doing the free phone deal soon?

The free phone deal just ended on December 31st. They usually do that "buy a $100 top-up voucher, get a free phone" deal in August and November. You won't see again it until that time.

You could try phoning or asking in store about the promotion. I was still able to get the free phone deal last week (Jan 8th) at my local 7-11.

Wow, that's rare. The closest 7-11's to me were all done on the 31st of December.

I saw someone mention on the forum that there is another promotion expected in February. Is this true? I just bought a phone from Speakout and should I return it and wait for February?

I wouldn't count on it. They can't run the free phone promotion every couple months.
