Once I get a sim card can I buy everything else online? Will any of it need to be mailed? I ask because I will have a friend buy the card for me when she is in Vancouver but then the phone will be used in Quebec and I won't have access to 7-11 and they don't ship to Quebec. Do online purchases of top ups need some sort of physical voucher or does entering the number do the trick? Sorry if this is stupid question! thanks!

I just recently bought a sim card at a local store and was able to do everything else online and by phone.

One curious thing was the clerk wouldn't sell me the sim without buying minutes.

Yes, you can buy top-ups online, but the credit card can't be based in Quebec. At this time, only SIM cards and top-ups can be purchased online. Phones can not. Of course the SIM will have to mailed, since it is a physical item.

Online top-up purchases do not require any kind of physical voucher. Basically you just choose the amount of the top-up, and enter your phone number, and once the payment is cleared the amount is added to your account. There is no PIN entry at all when topping up online. Hope this helps!

Thanks so much. Can the credit card be a US based card?

I'm very sorry. What does double post mean?

It means to ask the same question in different forums, or start a new thread to ask the same question. You started this thread with the same question:

Why does half this thread have to be about a lecture of double posting? When I'm enjoying a good read and someone jumps in about the rules it really wrecks the forum.

How about just sending a PM or email to the offender and not showing us how smart and wise the person that's trashing the thread is. How about making this one of your rules.

Relax.

It was 3 posts total from the time I asked them not to double to when they apologized, not "half the thread".

The top 3 posts are the only ones "enjoyable"
