As mentioned from Judy in another thread:
The store manager of the 7-11 at 2480 Lakeshore West in Toronto just told me that the promotion will be re-offered Feb 16 - March 31. They cannot offer it now even a day after it's expired because the promo must be in their system.
This promotion is $75 off any phone with the purchase of $100 airtime. This basically means that the basic phone (currently the Nokia 1600) is free with a $100 airtime purchase.

I hope another 7-Eleven store or an email from 7-Eleven HQ corroborates what he told me!
I'd been under the impression that such promotions were spaced further apart in time.

I went into 2 seperate 7/11 stores on Jan 2/08 to purchase the special promo but they said it had expired, they had phones in stock, but couldn't sell them in that promo as it expired Dec,31,07

I picked up a 1600 phone yesterday at the 711 at Robson & Hamilton St. in Vancouver here.

Yep same here Jim. But the store manager told me the same promo would be back in later February and March. Hope so. We'll see for sure in several more weeks.

I was surprised as thought the promo was over but they sold me a phone and it works. I have to return the battery charger though as it's defective

this is in response to a soooner comment.. It looks like we're gonna have to wait for the 100 airtime promo w/ free phone. I just tried 3 different stores and none were giving the promo (Vancouver)!! I still didnt try the one on Robson and I still think I may try going down to other stores but..... Does anyone know any other who are may still be offering the deal?

The one on 8602 GRANVILLE ST VANCOUVER, BC V6P 5A1 CANADA still has the promo... got the Nokia 2760 and 2 Nokia 1600 there.

were there any 1600s left at the 7-11 on granville? I need to get a new SIM card but don't want to spend 75 dollars for just the card and a phone alone.
Also, why would you buy multiple phones?

I visited the store today and sure enough they were still honouring the promotion. Unfortunately, I think I bought the last 1600, but there was a 6061 on the counter behind the till.

There were still the Nokia 2760 one there for $50 with $100 airtime...

oh hopefully the 2760 is there at least cuz its hard 4 me to ge there. Not really liking the 6061 was hoping to get 1600 oh well!

Kindly let me know their telephone number to call to get update about this offer please.Also they have offer on any other store in Mississauga,Brampton,Toronto,Etobikoke etc.Need store telephone number please.thanks
