I have a Samsung Ace 2X but it's not able to download a QR Code. Just wondering if it's my phone or if Speak Out service is not able to process QR codes?

I am more apt to blame the phone camera, and possibly the operator. The way QR codes work, is that your camera take a picture of the QR code, and there is a software that translates that picture to a Web page.

If the camera is not able to take a clear enough image, the software will not be able to translate what is on the picture. So the operator has to ensure a good enough picture is available to be taken, and that is under the assumption the camera is good enough.

To be more certain it is not a Speakout issue, take a QR picture when you are connected to wifi. If it works, there might be something wrong with the software not being able to use Speakout 3G for whatever reason.

Oh, and there is always a chance the QR code is directing you to a bad link. It has happened before.

There was no issue with reading the QR code as it was on the computer screen, but I downloaded QR Droid in place of QR Code Reader and that worked.
